Feed forward networks are ubiquitous in nature, societies and technology. Here we want to understand what happens in a simple feed-forward network if the differential equation governing the dynamics of each cell is near singularity. We consider the symmetric and non-symmetric cases. Using Matlab to study numerical results we find that even in a simple feed forward network with identical cells governed by a fairly simple dynamical system, rich varieties of complex periodic, quasi-periodic and chaotic behavior near the singularities of the systems arise. Understanding how and when such complexities arise will have implications for real world networks.
